I’ve been trying to think through the idea of a land bank. A place where a person can invest and earn a modest return and wood be vetted young farmers that will not be charged more than 5%. The purpose is to make monies available. I would also like to work on congress to provide monies for land grants. I’m in the thinking stage .I’m a strong believer in people needing to have skin the game.Got Bless, Al
Good morning Tim. A land bank is an interesting idea. During the founding of our country, they had a land bank but it some issues that confronted it. Corruption, greed and being undermined by foreign and domestic forces. It kind of sounds familiar doesn’t it? What I really lack is the expertise and ability to bring it fruition. Lawyers , who I usually hold in contempt, and financial people that would share the vision of creating something of a more altruistic nature. A organization that helps both investors and the borrower. If you have any ideas , please share. I always relish our conversations. Al
